While there was no Khmer Rouge national anthem, nor flag as such, there were many flags and songs associated with the group. This would of course change when the national that was Democratic Kampuchea was formed.
So, what was the National Anthem of the Khmer Rouge and what was the national anthem of Democratic Kampuchea?
National Anthem of Democratic Kampuchea
This was known as “Dap Prampi Mesa Moha Chokchey” and was decreed in 1976, although it was known to be used in free liberated zones of Cambodia much before this.
Following the overthrow of the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, and his cohorts it was replaced as the national anthem by the Peoples Republic of Kampuchea.
Alas as Democratic Kampuchea was still the recognized government through the Coalition Government of Democratic Kampuchea.
Despite its overt revolutionary and communist tone it remained the anthem played by most western nations, as well as the United Nations until as late as 1993, while the rebel Khmer Rouge kept it going until 1998.

Than the Angkor Period

To construct a Kampuchea with a new and better society,
